Pray for Fall Conference!
We didn't think it would happen. We had hoped, but doubted. But God provided!
We have over 500 students and staff registered for Fall Conference this year!
NEXT WEEKEND, we'll welcome all these students at the Harrisburg Hilton Hotel for a weekend of teaching, worship, and fellowship. Before we get there, there is still LOTS of planning and coordinating to do, especially for Kate as the Event Planning Manager. While the details Kate is sorting out are important, even more so
we need YOUR help in praying for this event.
Please pray for:
Main Session teachers
- that they would rightly and winsomely preach the gospel truths in the book of Ruth.
Breakout teachers
- that their teaching and topics would speak directly to students' situations and Biblical truths would be rooted in their hearts.
Students
- for soft heart and ears to hear the gospel preached, and for peace in any anxieties to attend a large weekend event in the midst of much school work.
Campus Fellowships
- that they would deepen community together.
Campus Staff
- for perseverance for the long days of ministering during the weekend, and wisdom and grace as they help students process the abundance of teaching.
Headquarters Staff
- for our final planning and preparation to go smoothly and for energy to carry out all the details of the event.

Ministry Partnership: LightSys
TJ's also been working on a major project lately! DiscipleMakers is in need of replacing our financial software, but it's not as simple as just setting up Quickbooks or something similar. As a non-profit ministry, fully supported by generous donations, our finances have specific requirements to accurately track all the information needed.
DiscipleMakers has partnered with LightSys, a ministry solely focused on providing tech support for other ministries. In our case, this means further developing their self-made software, Kardia.
In September, Greg Beeley (LightSys co-founder), and Noah Board (LightSys intern), travelled out to State College to work with TJ, Jason (TJ's manager), and the rest of our HQ staff to push the project forward. This included various conversations about necessary features of the system, training with our Finance department, and more.
This visit was not only encouraging for the productivity of this project, but also relationally. It's so sweet to see how the various parts of the body of Christ come together to make our ministries even more effective! We (TJ & Kate) were able to host Noah at our home and get to know him a bit more. We look forward to the completion of implementing this project. The hope is that we will start using it by the end of this year!

Support Raising Update
We continue to push forward in our efforts to build up support for our ministry with DiscipleMakers. We are incredibly grateful for some who have newly committed to regular giving! Praise God for answered prayer!
We'd love to re-connect with many of you to share about God's work on the college campus and how you could help us reach our current ministry goals. Some of you may already have heard from us and we look forward to talking more.

Praise God for so many students attending Fall Conference! Pray for the various elements of this complex event.
Praise God for LightSys and the work they do for the Lord. Pray that the technical elements would come together such that we can implement Kardia by the end of the year!
Praise God for his faithfulness to provide financially. Pray that God would raise up new support for our ministry with DiscipleMakers.

• We had the opportunity to try out water skiing with some friends! TJ did an awesome job and had lots of fun! (above left)
• We supported our local Pregnancy Resource Clinic at their annual 5K race and 10 mile bike ride. TJ biked (and got 2nd!), and Kate ran a 5K for the first time (and got a pretty good time!) (above right)
