At the beginning of April we held our annual womens conference. Young ladies came from all over the state
to work through the book of Ruth to learn how to respond when it feels like you are defeated and have lost everything. Afterward I spoke with one of the ladies from Shippensburg to see
how she was impacted. She told me that she learned “how to be more vulnerable with other girls her age, and that the workshop "sneaky self righteousness" helped her spot areas that need
to grow in her life; and she learned to have the courage to share those struggles with others.”
Half Way There
On the last day of march the Lord officially brought me to 50% of my support goal. The lyrics of the famous Bon Jovi song Livin’ on a Pray come to mind, “Whoa, We're halfway there, whoa, Livin' on a prayer”. And oh how true those lyrics are. The Lord
has brought me half way and I live on the prayer that He is going to provide the other half. Thank you all for your support and helping me to get halfway there!

At the end of each school year DiscipleMakers holds a week long conference, called Focus, with lots of
teaching that helps the students kick off their summer right. This year’s theme was “Here I am! Send me”, taken from Isaiah 6. I had the privilege of visiting for one day to see the students
and talk about what they were learning. One in particular was convicted that he had been wasting his time and was not doing enough to spread the Kingdom on his campus. It is my prayer
that this conviction will hold on through the summer so that he can work mightily for the Lord during his last year on campus.
