Fall Conference
Have you ever really sat and thought about what heaven will be like? When we read verses like in Revelation 5:13, we can imagine the resounding praise of the Lord as every person and creature sings of God's glory! Though we long for that day to come in the future, sometimes God's gives us a little peak into what that will be like now.
At Fall Conference, we had over 500 students and staff gathered together as we learned through Ruth how God provides Hope of out Heartache. Before and after our main sessions there were times of worship singing. Saturday evening we also had an extended worship night as we walked through the gospel in song, heard a personal testimony from a student, and prayed together. The students really loved this! Here's how one student described it:
"I LOVED the worship night, all of us just singing together and worshiping our God. it was a glimpse of what Heaven will be like."
Get a glimpse of heaven as we worshipped the Lord together!
Wow! It is so amazing to see college students giving their hearts to Christ and praising his name in this way! The entire weekend was a feast for their souls as they hungrily devoured the word of God preached, deeply embraced the community they built, and joyfully sang the praises of God!
"I feel incredibly blessed to have spiritual advisors to learn from, the comforts of a bed and an exquisite dining experience, and the opportunity to be surrounded by people who love God as I do. It is the highlight of my year, and I always leave with restoration in my spirit."
"This fall conference was the most difficult experience for me, but one of the most impactful. I'm in a really difficult season in my walk with God, and everything that was talked about was directly speaking to my life. I learned to lament for the first time, and I was able to pray with and over people and have the grace of God come into my life. I came to fall conference surrounded by darkness and I left with God's light pouring into me."
I (Kate) am so grateful for the opportunity to serve DiscipleMakers by organizing all the details to make this event happen. It is so encouraging to read the responses of students and know that they were deeply impacted. Every schedule I create, every question I answer, every email I send is all worth it when I know the students' lives are being transformed to follow Christ and know their great creator! What does TJ do at Fall Conference?
He meets students!
TJ was able to sit down over breakfast with a student who wanted to know more about how he can use his skills in computer technology for missions. The most exciting part of this conversation is that this student is only a freshman and he's already considering how he can serve the Lord post-college!

In November, we had the opportunity to travel to our hometown areas and share updates with many churches and individuals about our ministry with DiscipleMakers. We are to grateful to those who took the time to hear about this work!
During this time, God has continued to meet our financial needs, by providing about a third of our financial need. This leaves us with about $650 in regular monthly giving still to raise.

Prayers & Praises
Praise God for how He worked at Fall Conference! Praise God for bringing so much encouragement and knowledge to the students!
Pray that student would continue to reflect on all they learned at Fall Conference and would implement the teaching in tangible ways in their lives.
Pray for the students to be firmly rooted in the Lord, particularly as they head home for holiday breaks. For many students, they go home to unbelieving families or limited Christian community.
Praise God for how he has faithfully provided financially for our ministry with DiscipleMakers. Pray that the Lord would bring in the remaining funds quickly.

Outside the Office
During our November travels for support raising, we spent some extra time with family. We enjoyed an early Thanksgiving meal with Kate's family (above left). TJ and his brother enjoyed an entire turkey leg each at the Renningers gathering (above right). We also went rock climbing with Kate's brother and girlfriend - an very unintentionally matched! (below)
