A little over a month ago, DiscipleMakers had our annual fall student conference. This is a time where students from all our campuses are invited to spend the weekend together at the Harrisburg Hilton for inter-campus fellowship and to investigate the
word deeply, in both large and smaller group settings. We spent 5 sessions all together, worshiping the Lord and learning about the week leading up to and including Jesus'
death and resurrection. In addition, students were able to choose from 16 different breakout sessions on a variety of topics, and engage with missions agencies working
around the world through our Missions Fair. The first night I had the opportunity to serve by operating the slides for the worship, the teaching, and the announcements.
I also had the opportunity to serve by recording two of the break out sessions! Amidst a weekend of intense fellowship and learning, I got to meet a bunch of new students
and hear how the Lord is working in their hearts.

Post Conference High
Any time a large number of people gather together to worship the Lord, it easy to feel a “Spiritual High”, where we feel really connected with God and with other Christians. I was curious what it looked like for students going back to their respective
campuses as this “Spiritual High” began to die down and if it even had. I reached out to a friend of mine, L, a few weeks after Fall Conference to see how things were
going post conference. L is still a current student at Shippensburg. I would like to share three things from our conversation. One thing that stuck out to L is that there
was an increased closeness among students in the fellowship that was not experienced beforehand. It is encouraging to know that our conferences are helping to increase
the bond students have with each other in their fellowships. Another is that L got to room with a freshman from Ship’s fellowship. The short time they had to room together
allowed L and the freshmen to get to know each other, an opportunity that might not been given to them otherwise. Lastly, L gleaned a lot of wisdom that she plans to apply
to her life and to her ministry on campus. The 16 breakout sessions at fall conference provided a lot of wisdom pertaining to different areas of life and students were
able to choose to go to some that they were interested in. I am glad to hear what L had learned, and that she could bring back to the college campus.
Will You Provide Lord?
The month of November I have really wrestled with the question, “Will you really provide, Oh Lord”, as He has slowed the rate at which support for my ministry with
DiscipleMakers has come in. In this questioning, I must look to how the Lord has already provided. The Lord has provided nearly 80% of the funding that I need for
DiscipleMakers! I continue to ask that the Lord will provide and diligently keep that request in my prayers. He has been faithful to help give me good connections
with two churches, which is an answer to the prayers, that He would help me meet new people. In this experience of raising support, God has been providing in ways
that I do not expect, and I have now come to expect his unexpected ways!
Ways You Can Be Praying
Pray that I be satisfied in the Lord alone and not base my joy on the things that he gives or withholds.
Pray the Lord will finish raising my funding for DiscipleMakers before the end of the year.
Pray that I can blessing to my family and friends during this holiday season.
Thank you for your continued prayers and support. If there are any ways that I can be praying for you, please let me know!
